About Us
Switch is an independent streetwear, art and gift store, based on the sunny Isle of Wight in the UK. Our first store was opened in late 2006, whilst the online store was initially launched mid 2007. Since then the website has been redeveloped and relaunched, and in April 2009 we rebranded and expanded the business, moving to a much larger store and doubling our brand and product range.
Originally opened as ‘Switch 45’, we focused on providing clothing, music and lifestyle products for many likeminded locals who craved for a new shopping experience. Our brandlist, whilst smaller back then, still exclusively boasted some of the finest names in streetwear including Carhartt, Dickies and Fenchurch. Since then we have sought out some of the most innovative and cool brands in the business, from independent labels such as Dephect and SPUK, to industry heavyweights Stussy, Penfield and Obey. Now rebranded as Switch, and focusing more heavily on fashion and lifestyle accessories, we continue our search to bring timeless fashion pieces and brands to our customers, ensuring they are still wearing their purchases in keeping with the ‘current trend’ for years to come.
The Switch store offers a wide variety of men and women’s streetwear and fashion brands, skate and street footwear, with a large range of unique and interesting gifts. Alongside this you can find artwork available from local and more mainstream modern artists. Online we currently offer the same great range of streetwear and fashion, along with a carefully picked selection of our best gifts and accessories.
